The purpose is to give bill of the journey carried out during one decade, to approach the problem of the construction cognitive in the half level, sustained conceptually from the theory of the activity. This problem has been investigated from different components, such as the rules and norms, the subject of the teaching and the exchanges that are gestated among the actors of the school practice. These different entrance doors, gave origin to each one of the projects of which we are part and that in this article they are synthesized. At the moment one is working in another of the components as they are the tools, considered particularly as didactic activities. El presente escrito se desprende de las conclusiones a las que hemos arribado en distintos proyectos de investigación, de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación (UNComahue). El propósito es dar cuenta del recorrido realizado durante una década, para abordar la problemática de la construcción cognitiva en el nivel medio, sostenida conceptualmente desde la teoría de la actividad. Dicha problemática ha sido indagada desde distintos componentes, tales como las reglas y normas, el sujeto de la enseñanza y los intercambios que se gestan entre los actores de la práctica escolar. Estas distintas puertas de entrada, dieron origen a cada uno de los proyectos de los cuales formamos parte y que en este artículo se sintetizan. Actualmente se está trabajando en otro de los componentes como son las herramientas, consideradas particularmente como actividades didácticas.
