Another aim is to state some of the “rules of the rules of the game” which allow supervisors to move between bureaucratic hypernomia and absolute discretionality. These practices must be understood within the framework of the structures which make them possible. This is the reason why the role of the rules of the educational field is as important as the role of the rules of the bureaucratic field. Even though the practices of the heads of the educational system exist within a context of interaction, though this may seem paradoxical, the truth about them is not in them but between the interactions and their relation to the social space. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar las estrategias de los agentes sociales (supervisores de nivel medio del sistema educativo), de acuerdo con la posición que ocupan dentro del campo social, frente a las normas jurídicas. Se propone, además, establecer algunas de las “reglas de juego con la regla” que les permiten a los supervisores moverse entre la hipernomia burocrática y la discrecionalidad absoluta. Estas prácticas deben ser entendidas en el marco de las estructuras que las hacen posibles, por ello juegan un papel importante las reglas propias tanto del campo educativo como del campo burocrático. Las prácticas de los directivos del sistema educativo se dan en un marco mayoritariamente de interacción, aunque resulte paradójico, la verdad de éstas no se encuentran en ellas, sino entre las interacciones y su relación con el espacio social.
