In the context of the covid 19 pandemic and given the unprecedented situation that the virtualization of education, the modification of times, spaces and school routines entailed, one of the first challenges we faced with students was to reflect on the selection and content organization and its social relevance. Ath history to teach and why do it become an intellectual provocation that invited us to situate ourselves in the school in times of isolation and immediacy. On this occasion, we share reflections based on student productions that make it possible to understand where their concerns and provisional responses went En este artículo, presentamos una experiencia pedagógica desarrollada desde la cátedra de Planificación Didáctica y Prácticas de la Enseñanza en Historia, del Profesorado en Historia, en la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación, de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, durante el año 2020. En el contexto de la pandemia por COVID-19 y ante la coyuntura inédita que supuso la virtualización de la educación, la modificación de tiempos, espacios y rutinas escolares, uno de los primeros desafíos que afrontamos con los estudiantes fue reflexionar en torno a la selección y organización de contenidos y a su relevancia social. Qué historia enseñar y para qué hacerlo se constituyó en una provocación intelectual que nos invitó a situarnos en la escuela en tiempos de aislamiento e inmediatez. En esta oportunidad, compartimos algunas reflexiones a partir de las producciones de estudiantes que posibilitan comprender por dónde transitaron sus inquietudes y respuestas provisorias.
