I22-R128-article-45202024-11-28T17:12:19Z The UNCo Protocol: reflections from an intersectional and anti-punitive perspective El Protocolo UNCo: reflexiones desde una perspectiva interseccional y antipunitivista Jiménez, Rosario Gender politics Comahue National University intersectionality Violence Punitivism Políticas de género Universidad Nacional del Comahue Interseccionalidad Violencia Punitivismo The topic to be addressed in this paper is university gender policies, and in particular, the tool of intervention protocols on situations of violence for university institutions. We delve into the Protocol of Comahue National University, a pioneering experience of what will later be the protocols sanctioned in universities throughout Argentina. The point of departure is the analysis of documentary sources and a valuable interview with Graciela Alonso (feminist activist from Comahue and institutional manager of the Interdisciplinary Commission of the Protocol). It has been possible to review the context of the emergence of this tool, the spirit and the intervention strategies that are provided by it. The starting point is an intersectional and relational framework of analysis, which forces us to review the definition of violence since it is the issue that the protocols intend to address. This also leads us to recover critical views of gender policies that warn about the risk of a punitive future of these tools hand in hand with a depoliticization of the underlying problem.
