The conceptual differentiation in the definition of sport and the pedagogical practices necessary to reverse this discriminatory situation constitute the central core of the article. To strengthen this sense, the concept of inclusion is critically analyzed from the perspective of living culture and the needs of belonging and social bonding, which the dominant sports system simplifies by offering its products with a more massive format, without considering the practices and own ways of each group to carry them out, thus avoiding their emancipation. El deporte, en su concepción y manifestaciones hegemónicas vigentes, excluye a millones de personas de la práctica deportiva y sus beneficios. La diferenciación conceptual en la definición del deporte y las prácticas pedagógicas necesarias para revertir esta situación discriminatoria constituyen el núcleo central del artículo. Para fortalecer este sentido, se analiza críticamente el concepto de inclusión desde la perspectiva de la cultura viva y las necesidades de pertenencia y vinculación social, que el sistema deportivo dominante simplifica ofreciendo sus productos con un formato de mayor masividad, sin considerar las prácticas y los modos propios de cada grupo para realizarlas evitando, de ese modo, su emancipación.
