However, there are uses and benefits that are not acknowledged in traditional classrooms, and, due to the global pandemic, teachers had been obligated to utilize them. One of these unknown uses is the capability that the audiovisual resource has to make visible socially relevant issues. In this regard, we can take any situation with a deep historical foundation, for example, heteronormative violence which is involved gender and queer sexuality and carry out a didactic transposition in order to teach abilities related to critical thinking. Lo audiovisual y el cine han tenido un lugar en las aulas de clases como recursos de múltiples usos (motivador, ejemplificador, sintetizador, etc.) para el estudiantado. No obstante, existen usos y beneficios no potenciados en el aula de clases tradicionales, y que, gracias a la situación de la pandemia, los docentes durante el último tiempo se han visto obligados a utilizar. Uno de estos usos no reconocidos es la capacidad que tiene lo audiovisual para visibilizar los problemas socialmente relevantes. En este sentido, podemos tomar cualquier situación de raíz histórica, por ejemplo, la violencia heteronormativa a la cual se ve enfrentada el género y las disidencias, y realizar una transposición didáctica para enseñar habilidades relacionadas con el pensamiento crítico.
