Analyzing the gender discourses of the educational proposals offered by museums is a primary task in the field of educational research. This publication focuses on the National Anthropological Museum and it is part of the R+D Project PID2020-116662GB-I00, financed by MCIN/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033/. We start from a qualitative research based on the interpretive paradigm. Instruments for analysis are information grid and categories table. As a main conclusion, we highlight that the educational areas of museums have a great transformation potential because they represent opportunities to create new narratives that make us move towards a real heritage co-education La educación patrimonial es una herramienta clave en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje para la configuración simbólica de las sociedades. Por ello, es necesario no solo recuperar el patrimonio hecho por las mujeres sino también releer nuestra historia desde la mirada abierta e inclusiva que nos ofrece la perspectiva de género. Analizar los discursos de género de las propuestas educativas que presentan los museos es una tarea primordial en el ámbito de investigación educativa. Esta publicación se centra en el análisis del Museo Antropológico Nacional y forma parte del Proyecto I+D PID2020-116662GB-I00, financiado por MCIN/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033/. Partimos de una investigación cualitativa basada en el paradigma interpretativo. Los instrumentos de análisis son la rejilla de información y la tabla de categorías. Como conclusión principal, destacamos que las áreas educativas de los museos tienen  un gran potencial de transformación porque representan oportunidades para crear nuevas narrativas que nos hagan avanzar hacia una verdadera coeducación patrimonial.
