Reflection, which necessarily requires the approach and analysis of is-sues such as: What is the place of the educational events, what importance assigned teachers and students?, New events occur with the in-corporation of recent developments?, connotation on what or how erupt?, only covers replacement of commemorative dates?, persistent forms, purposes and goals?, is the construction, and resignification of identities, what place would be allocated or awarded ephemerides to the traditional homelands?. These questions revealed that large complexes also rethinking other aspects of the issues raised. Es pretensión del presente artículo reflexionar sobre las efemérides en relación a la historia reciente y la construcción de memorias en un contexto impregnado de incertidumbres y que le imprimen al pasado diversas representaciones, reignificaciones y sentidos. Reflexión, que necesariamente, amerita el abordaje y análisis de cuestiones tales como: ¿Qué lugar ocupan las efemérides entre las finalidades educativas?, ¿qué importancia le asignan docentes y alumnos?, ¿surgen nuevas efemérides con la incorporación de procesos recientes?, ¿bajo qué connotación o de qué forma irrumpen?, ¿sólo refiere a reemplazo de fechas conmemorativas?, ¿persisten las formas, propósitos y finalidades?, ¿es objeto la construcción, significación y resignificación de identidades?, ¿qué lugar se asignaría u otorgaría a las tradicionales efemérides patrias?. Cuestionamientos estos que permiten poner de manifiesto grandes complejidades, además, de repensar otros aspectos de la problemática planteada.
