Those gaps are further deepened in the case of women from vulnerable sectors. Due this situation, we stand that the type of labor insertion of women is conditioned by the kind of child care arrangement options provided by public services and labor regulations. The aim of this paper is to analyze the link between gender gaps in the labor market and the child care policies in the country. For this purpose, we merge the contributions about social organization of care from the feminist economy perspectives, with the Latin American Structuralism analysis of the regional labor markets. Based on this, we analyze the offer of public childcare services and the access to maternity leaves, observing whether they reproduce maternalistic or co-responsible care schemes; and the dynamics of the labor structure based on information from the INDEC Permanent Household Survey.
