Sumario:At the start Porfirismo, public education in the state, by law, is divided into primary and secondary was entrusted to the Board Inspector, residing in the capital, and his subordinate, subaltern Municipal Boards. Among the objectives sought by the Board Inspector was to standardize teaching across the state as well as the education of women. Don Jose Ildefonso Díaz de León decided to give effect to the state capital in the foundation of a secondary education College campus inaugurated with the name "Guadalupe Josephite". Main School of San Luis Potosi Lancasteriana opened on May 20, 1843. Some of the work done in the nineteenth century by the Inspector of Primary Education Board of the State of San Luis Potosi and Potosi Lancasteriana Board outlined in this document.
