Sumario:The article presents the final results of an educational intervention held in a history course in the Bachelor of Social Science at the University La GranColombia.Throughthe implementationofmethodological principles based on the Action-Research, a series of educational and disciplinary tools were designed and implemented. Those tools propose that the history education of social science teachersfocuson developing understanding rather than memorizing content.
