| Sumario: | Writing is a revolutionary invention of humanity. Thanks to its invention we have been able to develop knowledge that otherwise would not have taken place. However, the conception of writing systems and their evolution over time has had consequences tending to support certain forms of racism and superiority of the western hegemonic languages. In this article, we will review the origins of writing, the differences between the different orthographic systems and the considerations associated with the differences between them, understanding this as part of a deformation or naturalization of some conceptions beyond writing as a technology. This functions as arguments of the progress in the development of the thought of the hegemonic western cultures. |
