description Writing is a revolutionary invention of humanity. Thanks to its invention we have been able to develop knowledge that otherwise would not have taken place. However, the conception of writing systems and their evolution over time has had consequences tending to support certain forms of racism and superiority of the western hegemonic languages. This functions as arguments of the progress in the development of the thought of the hegemonic western cultures.
