Sumario:The work we present is part of a Research Project of the National University of Tucuman entitled “The construction of knowledge about teaching in new teachers of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences”. This time we focus on History and Geography. In 2020 we conducted a survey instrumented with Google Forms. It was developed and responded to within the framework of the Covid 19 pandemic that is sweeping the world, transforming lives, ties, hopes, emotions, expectations. Teaching and learning were strongly impacted by the context and teachers (experts and novices) saw ourselves in new virtual settings, willing to devise, design, implement and evaluate teaching goals and strategies. We selected some of the slogans formulated, with the purpose of presenting incidences of the pandemic context in novice teachers. On the centenary of the birth of Paulo Freire, the undoubted validity of his pedagogical thought enabled us to put uncertainties, theories, practices and new learnings in tension.
