We will start with a general framework on the relevance of the social character of school learning. Then, we will characterize the knowledge frameworks of the students as tools to learn school contents of social sciences, from an epistemological perspective that articulates contributions of situated constructivism and of social psychology. Finally, we will analyze cognitive actions that students put into play to build social knowledge, focusing on comparisons and projections. For this, we will take as a reference productions of our research team in social science didactics and research contributions from Nicole Lautier and Didier Cariou. En este artículo abordaremos la construcción del conocimiento social en el aula basándonos en aportes de investigaciones del campo de la didáctica de las ciencias sociales. Comenzaremos con un marco general sobre la relevancia del carácter social del aprendizaje escolar. Luego, caracterizaremos a los marcos de conocimientos de lxs estudiantes como herramientas para aprender contenidos escolares de ciencias sociales, desde una perspectiva epistemológica que articula aportes del constructivismo situado y de la psicología social. Por último, analizaremos acciones cognitivas que ponen en juego lxs estudiantes para construir conocimiento social, focalizando en las comparaciones y las proyecciones.Para ello tomaremos como referencia producciones de nuestro equipo de investigación en didáctica de las ciencias sociales y aportes de investigaciones de Nicole Lautier y de Didier Cariou.
