Sumario:The purpose of this paper is to problematize the concept of social movements in the light of different contributionsfrom the fields of politics and sociology, and without neglecting the more recent conceptualizations that allow explaining situations and problems of recent history. Social movements are characterized by their dynamics and allow us to explain new forms of participation, of doing politics, of sociability in the world we live in. Other objectives are: a) to analyze the contents of History of Salta's contents of History b) to reformulate the school emerge from different social sectors and that seek political, cultural and economic changes linked to social movements and to consider their presenc/absence in classrooms. Ultimately, a grid of contents on Latin American social movements is proposed, referring to case studies of Salta's High School.
