Social movements are characterized by their dynamics and allow us to explain new forms of participation, of doing politics, of sociability in the world we live in. Other objectives are: a) to analyze the contents of History of Salta's contents of History b) to reformulate the school emerge from different social sectors and that seek political, cultural and economic changes linked to social movements and to consider their presenc/absence in classrooms. Ultimately, a grid of contents on Latin American social movements is proposed, referring to case studies of Salta's High School. El presente trabajo tiene como propósito problematizar sobre el concepto de movimientos sociales a la luz de diferentes aportes del campo de la política y la sociología, sin descuidar conceptualizaciones más recientes que permiten explicar situaciones y problemas de la historia reciente. Los movimientos sociales se caracterizan por su dinámica y nos permiten explicar nuevas formas de participación, de hacer política, de sociabilidad del mundo global que vivimos. Otros objetivos que nos proponemos son: analizar los contenidos de Historia de la escuela secundaria de Salta; reformular contenidos escolares que visibilicen las problemáticas de las sociedades que emergen de distintos sectores sociales y que buscan cambios políticos, culturales, económicos vinculados con los movimientos sociales y considerar su presencia/ausencia en las aulas. En última instancia se plantea una grilla de contenidos sobre movimientos sociales latinoamericanos, haciendo referencia a estudios de casos de MS en Salta.
