description In most theoretical frameworks, the extralinguistic dimension is not considered as a category of analysis. In this work, the term is used when the content or the interpretation of a form or a sentence does not depend on grammar, but on external reality. From the point of view of grammar, a series of linguistic phenomena that require extralinguistic reasons in order to be fully understood are reviewed. From the didactic point of view, these examples can help to develop a process of internalization of grammatical elements and to improve the ability to understand and express ideas.
