Sumario:This paper presents an analysis within the framework of the research conducted by the Didactics of History and Social Sciences and the Educational Association Workshop corresponding to the History Department of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences-UADER.In view of our role as teacher educators, we are interested in investigating in this opportunity, in the motivations and interests expressed by graduate teachers and advanced students in the career to perform assignments and assistantships in the figure of Student Teaching Assistants in the mentioned chairs and at the same time, to recover and add contributions to reflective teaching practices in instances of initial training of student trainees.
