We review the technical instruments which take that invisibility as constitutive of the normal dynamics of development. As a result, we present the entailment by which female oppression becomes part of the Patagonian organizational structure for the population and the region. Este artículo recorre el modo en que el reconocimiento territorial patagónico, en su origen a fines del siglo XIX y principios del XX, necesitó del ocultamiento del esfuerzo ubicado como reproductivo y cómo la narrativa romántica rescata y reconoce el hacer femenino, en un modo complementario que alimenta su desvalorización. Revisaremos los instrumentos técnicos que permitieron que la invisibilidad sea constitutiva a la dinámica normal del desarrollo. Como resultado presentaremos la trama por la cual la desigualdad de género deviene en estructura organizativa de la región y población patagónica.
