description The present work corresponds to a study of epistemological character that aims to determine the object of study of the Psychopedagogy from a methodological construction, which arises from the epistemological reflection of the dimensions for the construction of the object of study of the scientific investigations raised by Samaja and complemented by the work of Barriga and Henríquez called UA (unit of analysis), UO (unit of observation) and UI (unit of information). The analysis carried out allows us to determine three matrices that are constructing the object of study, which ends up emerging from the interrelation of the dimensions associated with human learning and psychopedagogical praxis. The construction of the object of study presented, also allows to make a conceptual proposal of learning and a paradigmatic restructuring in terms of psycho-pedagogical and Psycho-pedagogical identity, delivering delimitations that allow to expand the notions and demolish traditional conceptions about it.
