| Sumario: | The region of Lake Nahuel Huapi (Patagonia,Argentina) was soon highlighted and differentiated by their economic resources and its tourist attractions. However, the intervention of theArgentineStatebetween 1934 and 1944, personified by the Director of National Parks Exequiel Bustillo, marked a significant rise from its material and symbolic practices. We intend to analyze and problematize this conservative project, putting it in tension with other views. We proved thus that installed a sharp dispute in the process of territorial formation, strengthened internal colonialism and the subordination of the local development to an authoritarian and nationalistic design. |
