However, the intervention of theArgentineStatebetween 1934 and 1944, personified by the Director of National Parks Exequiel Bustillo, marked a significant rise from its material and symbolic practices. We intend to analyze and problematize this conservative project, putting it in tension with other views. We proved thus that installed a sharp dispute in the process of territorial formation, strengthened internal colonialism and the subordination of the local development to an authoritarian and nationalistic design.
