Sumario:The validity of agribusiness as a new productive pattern that guided the practices and strategies of agricultural producers supposed, from an institutional point of view, the need to redefine the logic of the entities that had traditionally assumed as an essential function the trade union defense of the interests of its associates. In this framework, the objective of this article is to explore the redefinition of the institutional profiles of a first-degree entity in the interior of Córdoba, based on the structuring of a series of services aimed at professionalizing the productive practices of its members. As a result of this process, a series of transformations took place which, without abandoning the function that had been historically assumed, disrupted their institutional profiles and operated as an instance from which the institution (and the practices of its social bases) was adapted to the new context socio-productive.
