description This paper describes an desktop application framework to be used with the Java Swing API. The goal of this framework is to promote the decoupling between the Frames and its actions, turning up the modularity of desktop application systems and centralizing the systems resources in one main controller, making issues about security more manageable and controlled with a declarative way. The framework is based on a very know web framework, Jakarta Struts, where the components nomenclature was maintained to gain some similarity between the two frameworks.
