As the first step for this research, it is necessary to select a Cybersecurity Maturity Model that allows us to determine what is the organization's current status. This document defines what maturity is, the advantages provided by the implementation of maturity models, a brief comparison between cybersecurity maturity models, and it is determined the model to be used during the research; finally, a short description of the research's next steps is provided.
