We study the frequency and the value of hypoproteinemia in hepatic diseases. After remembering proteins metabolism, we consider the liver as the former organ and storage of plasma proteins. Notwithstanding we must not consider hypoproteinemia as the only factor in many hepatic diseases but we admit its importance and that is why we try to normalize protidemia if we want to obtain liver compensation. Plasmrtherapy is a great recourse to obtain that, but it is not the only one, it is the only of greatest efficacy. We must remember also vitamins want and choline use.
