On Interchanging Homotopy Limits and Colimits in CAT : Notas de Matemática, 64

Let I ,J be small categories and let C : / x J → CAT be a functor to the category of small categories. We show that, if I has a final object then the canonical map hocolimj holim/ C → holim/ hocolimj C is a weak homotopy equivalence.
