Sodium, the same as in adrenoprive animals, decreases in muscles in a significative form keeping up its normal concentration in the liver. Hypophysectomized animals have the same sensibility to the potassium toxic action as those which present adrenal insufficiency. The indentity that exists in perturbations of electrolitic metabolism, in asthenic hypohysoprive and adrenoprive toads, allows us to affirm that asthenic manifestations of hypophysectomized animals are accorded by adrenal skin atrophy. Dans les crapauds asthéniques par l’hypophysectomie surviennent les mêmes modifications éléctrolitiques dans les tissus que celles vérifiées dans les animaux adrénoprives. La concentraction du potassium disminue, vraiment, au niveau du foie, tandis que dans le muscle les valeurs sont conservés. Le sodium, de la même manière que dans les adrénoprives, disminue dans les muscles en forme significative et garde sa concentration normale dans le foie. Les animaux hypophysectomisés ont la même sensibilité à Faction toxique du potassium que ceux qui présentent une insuffisance adrénale. L’identité qui existe dans les perturbations du métabolisme des éléctrolites, dans les crapauds asthéniques hypophysoprives et adre- noprives, nous permet soutenir que les manifestations asthéniques des hypophysectomisés sont convenues par l’atrophie de l’écorce adrénale.
