The IPCC is the internationally accredited authority on climate change and produces reports that receive the agreement of leading climate scientists and the consensus of participating governments. Among other awards, the IPCC received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. The interview covers the history of the IPCC, the current and future situation regarding climate change and reflects on the role of science and technology in this regard. Matemático y meteorólogo nacido en Marruecos (1961), trabaja desde 1987 en la Dirección Nacional de Meteorología de su país, de la que llegó a ser director en 2009. El IPCC es la autoridad internacionalmente acreditada en materia de cambio climático y elabora informes que cuentan con el acuerdo de los principales científicos del clima y el consenso de los gobiernos participantes. Entre otros galardones, el IPCC recibió el Premio Nobel de la Paz en 2007. La entrevista aborda la historia de la institución, la situación actual y futura del cambio climático y reflexiona sobre el papel de la ciencia y la tecnología al respecto. Entre outros prêmios, o IPCC recebeu o Prêmio Nobel da Paz em 2007.
