Dr. De Giusti explores the concepts and aspects of OS as a mindset that needs policies and leadership to address globally shared challenges such as OS in all policies; open research process; infrastructure; legal aspects; multilingual and diversity; funding; and also a lot of new knowledge related with sharing FAIR and CARE data on an open basis. La Ciencia Abierta (CA) no solo es compartir todo el proceso de investigación y sus productos durante el ciclo de vida de un proyecto de investigación. El desafío consiste en cambiar la mentalidad para aplicar los principios de la CA, sus prácticas sostenibles, la sensibilidad cultural y las innovaciones que promuevan y sostengan la CA. Esta presentación explora, los conceptos y aspectos de la CA como un esquema mental que necesita de políticas y liderazgo para abordar los desafíos globales compartidos tales como: las políticas, los procesos de investigación abiertos, la infraestructura necesaria, los aspectos legales, el multilingüismo, la diversidad, el financiamiento y, asimismo, nuevas prácticas y conocimientos para el intercambio de datos de FAIR y CARE de forma abierta.
