Reproduction of an extended Lorenz equation in a thermal convection loop : Analysis of transitions among stationary orbits and equilibrium points

In this paper a study of dynamic behavior that resembles interacting earth-atmosphere systems is carried out on the basis of an extended Lorenz system. The whole analysis is oriented to the dynamics of convection loops. One lab prototype is under construction at the present time, in where qualitativ...

description In this paper a study of dynamic behavior that resembles interacting earth-atmosphere systems is carried out on the basis of an extended Lorenz system. The whole analysis is oriented to the dynamics of convection loops. One lab prototype is under construction at the present time, in where qualitative changes among the states are observed in a simulacrum ofthese atmospheric phenomena. More precise results were aimed through numerical simulations, in where different techniques of the Bifurcation Theory were employed to detect and identify qualitative changes more sharply. The objective here was to present previous results in the prediction of qualitative behavior of an extended time-varying Lorenz system.
