description This work revalues, within the subject "Analogue Drawing in Projects", the importance of the sketch in the project. The course focused on the engineering representations of equipment, processes and machinery within an industry, which would allow, for example, the analysis of environmental impact. The objectives of the subject were achieved when the students incorporated the sketch as a design tool, and the organization of these sketches in a blog. As a result, the students agreed on the strength of the expressive resource, the communicational richness and the plasticity it provides to the project process.
