description An analysis of the surfaces of physical education in Antioquia in the XIX century, by means of the aesthetical-prosaic perspective, looks at identifying the strategic unfolding of power —moral-religious, and socio-political— for the conformation of a way of being corporal through schooling. This study parts from a hypothetical definition of the schooling matrix which considers the Deweian Postulate of the body as a historic and social product. The study locates the time-space where a military break up —not in extremis of mentality— with the colonial structure, gradually, opens up space for social reconfiguration and for the constitution of the subject under modern postulates. A multi-sectors game (between militia, church, society and school) defines the new relations between the two powers. There, the conditions of regulation, confirmation and institutionalizing of the aesthetical experience of the subject through one of the gadgets —undervalued by educational historians— pampered by the nineteenth power for the conformation of the way of being masculine: the military evolution. How to reference this article: MORENO G., William, “Milicia y escuela: proxémica icónica de los juegos de guerra.
