It is a powerful entity designed to set up and operate many regional policies intended to subdue, even more, Latin America to the American interests. In this sense, Mexico is a good example because it is located within the US political and economic domain; also, because it has a neoliberal government. Finally because the US has practically reorganized the Mexican inner structures for its own benefits.
