As a result of this elaborate composition, opposite feelings will arise: the dead are awaited and celebrated in November; but on the other hand, the villagers consider the dead as entities that may harm people. In this sense, the article explore the imaginary around the teenek as well as their socio-economical context, and to propose to the reader two possible interpretations for what the author consider “The perversity of the dead”.
