description In March 2014, Michelle Bachelet and Isabel Allende took the top two positions of political and institutional power in Chile -President of the Republic and President of the Senate, respectively. That same month, the president announced the creation of the Ministry of Women and Gender Equity. Paradoxically, in those days, the soft drink Lemon Soda, launched an advertising campaign that included audiovisual pieces that showed youth attitudes of street harassment, which are punishable by Chilean law (recorded with their phones their necks or legs, example). The spot coincided with a public campaign against street harassment and various organizations criticized advertising Lemon Soda and filed a complaint to the National Council of Self-Regulation and Advertising Ethics (CONAR), calling for sanctions against the company responsible.
