The television news are the preferred medium through which people gain information about their social environment and come to constitute a representation of the same. This is due to that it consider that news reports accurately reflect what is happening in society, which are as mirrors which projected what actually happens in the outside world. This paper presents the results of an investigation that aimed to describe the strategies of veridicción that are deployed within the newsreels, ie. what operations are carried out to present speeches of newsreels as factual statements, as speeches of truth. Therefore resorted to the analysis of a case, that coverage and social relevance, it is exemplary: the crime and the figure of the offender. |
