FISSURES OF REPRESENTATION: EVENT (BADIOU), PURE NOTION (MALLARMÉ), AND OBJECT VOICE (LACAN) Abstract The idea of this article —which is part of an ongoing doctoral research on the status of the subject in the convergences and divergences of Badiou's philosophy and Lacanian psychoanalysis (UNC-CONICET)— is to reflect on Badiou's scenario of the resignification of Being and, therefore, of truth, appealing to some elements of Stéphane Mallarmé (fundamental poet for the French philosopher's theory of event) and Jacques Lacan's works. Thus, we will try to show how the discontinuity of Being, that is, the possible site of an event for Badiou, may be conceivable with other figures: the "pure notion" in Mallarmé's poetry and the "object voice" in Lacanian psychoanalysis —all of them being figures of a fissure of representation. FAILLES DE LA REPRÉSENTATION: ÉVÉNEMENT, (BADIOU), NOTION PURE (MALLARMÉ) ET OBJET VOIX (LACAN) Résumé Le but de cet article —qui fait partie d’une recherche de doctorat en cours sur le statut du sujet au croisement des convergences et divergences de la philosophie badousienne et de la psychanalyse lacanienne (UNC-CONICET)— est de réfléchir à propos de la ré-signification badousienne de l’Être et, par conséquent, de la vérité, en faisant appel à l'œuvre de Stéphane Mallarmé (poète central dans la théorie de l’événement du philosophe français). Le texte essaiera donc de montrer de quelle manière la discontinuité de l’Être, c’est-à-dire, le lieu possible d’un événement pour Badiou, peut être pensée à partir de figures analogues d’une faille de la représentation: la “notion pure” dans la poétique de Mallarmé et “l’objet voix” dans la psychanalyse lacanienne.
