Harold Alvarado Tenorio, Colombian writer, examines in this paper the Simón Bolivar's iconography, produced at different times and by different artists, reminding us later of the duty to "give to coming generations an image of the hero that corresponds with at least certain truths relating to both his existence and his effigies.
