Opposite the church, political parties offered other spaces, some parallels to the Church schools, cultural centers, houses of the village libraries. The impact had socialist village houses, cultural centers and workers anarchists stands. Means that channeled teachings and facilitated learning are studied. The incidence of these spaces means to develop a transitive consciousness that made possible the conquest of democratic values is emphasized. Este trabajo se ocupa de los espacios donde se formaron los adultos en España (1875-1936), en una época de enfrentamiento social y lucha. Frente a la iglesia, los partidos políticos ofrecerán otros espacios, algunos paralelos a los de la Iglesia: escuelas, ateneos, casas del pueblo, bibliotecas. Se destaca la incidencia que tuvieron las casas del pueblo socialistas, y los ateneos obreros anarquistas. Se estudian los medios que canalizaban las enseñanzas y facilitaban los aprendizajes. Se destaca la incidencia de esos espacios y medios en el desarrollo de una conciencia transitiva que hizo posible la conquista de valores democráticos.
