| Sumario: | Universities, teacher training and comprehensive sex education (CSE) are linked in complex and diverse ways. Universities are higher-level education institutions, and together with teaching, research, and outreach activities, they carry out other underlying tasks such as teacher training and the production of referential knowledge for compulsory education. Considering the premise that universities train teachers and that CSE is a right for students, in this article, we present the results of a semi-structured survey aimed at gathering information regarding training in CSE in a university degree course in the field of social sciences. This exploratory survey was carried out in 2020, and it helped shed light on university training and the link between disciplinary knowledge and the teaching of CSE from the students’ point of view. This resulted in an overview or roadmap of the milestones in the incorporation of a gender perspective into their program of study. At the same time, this survey was the starting point of the fieldwork for the doctoral research at a university in the City of Buenos Aires. |
