| Sumario: | This paper is part of a research that focuses on the reconstruction of some social sector policies in Buenos Aires province in the period 1983-2015. In particular, this article review debates and challenges raised by the agendas of the education government authorities that were in charge in the province during the first two administrations since the return of democracy in 1983: the administration of Alejandro Armendáriz of the Radical Party and Antonio Cafiero of the Justicialist Party. The aim of this paper is to reconstruct, from the perspective of policy makers, initiatives or ideas that marked the ideological and programmatic position of these successive administrations. Likewise, it is proposed to identify which were the main restrictions found for those in the education government to carry out these initiatives. |
