The hypothesis proposed to be developed is that with the advent of COVID-19, students sharpen their demands related to the material conditions of schools and the transmission of knowledge, while producing new ones related to access to technology and connectivity to sustain their schooling. They experience their citizenships as claims, while their discursive practices (Foucault, 1968) realize that the right to education is in dispute due to the scarce material and technological conditions, as well as the difficulties they encounter in achieving their goals. For this, here we will work with image records, as well as written and audiovisual productions of students in the framework of a university extension activity during 2019 and 2020. Some of the results show that the act of enunciating and denouncing the problems that affect personal, social and educational levels, as well as the sense of solidarity and social organization of individuals are central characteristics in the configuration of citizenship practices in the popular neighbor hoods.
