Trough the manuscript, the incidence that the use of information and communications technology (ICT) has had in secondary schools and in the training and practice of teachers in recent years is problematized. The educational emergency triggered by the pandemic has exposed the limits of the educational discourse in relation to the modernization of the school, the scarce articulation with the interests and needs of young people and the predominance of a transmission centered on the contents of an encyclopedic curriculum. By the end of this article, a debate is proposed about the possibility of thinking in the social, political, economic and cultural interstices that the pandemic will leave open to think about an uncertain and dynamic curriculum and a conversion of ICT towards learning and knowledge technologies (LKT). El artículo expone algunos hallazgos realizados en un proyecto de investigación redireccionado hacia la enseñanza en tiempos de pandemia del COVID-19, a partir del trabajo con docentes de nivel secundario de ciudades del centro de la provincia de Buenos Aires.En su recorrido, se problematiza la incidencia de las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) en la enseñanza escolar, en la formación y en la práctica de los docentes en los últimos años. La emergencia educativa desencadenada por la pandemia ha expuesto los límites del discurso educativo en relación con la modernización de la escuela, la articulación con los intereses y necesidades de los jóvenes y la predominancia de un estilo de transmisión centrado en un currículum enciclopedista.En el cierre, se propone debatir acerca de la posibilidad de pensar en los intersticios sociales, políticos, económicos y culturales que dejará abiertos la pandemia para pensar un currículum incierto y dinámico y una reconversión de las TIC hacia tecnologías del aprendizaje y el conocimiento (TAC).
