The work focused on the strategies of accompaniment for first year students that were carried out in all the institutes of the university: Education, Technology and Engineering, Community Health and Biotechnology. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were conducted with different institutional actors, involving the participation of teachers from the four institutes, the Management and Accompaniment Team, Institute Directors, the Director of Academic Management, the Academic Secretary and the Secretary of Student Welfare and Community Services. As part of the preliminary results, we can affirm that within the framework of the general social confinement, the institutional policies of UNAHUR tended to strengthen the accompaniment of new students, improving academic trajectories. We understand that this was possible because the university constantly questioned education from a political and pedagogical point of view and rethought institutional practice in order to strengthen university education in the community. El presente artículo pretende describir y socializar las primeras disposiciones institucionales de la Universidad Nacional de Hurlingham (UNAHUR) en el contexto del Aislamiento Social, Preventivo y Obligatorio (ASPO). El trabajo se centró en las estrategias de acompañamiento a ingresantes de los cuatro institutos de la universidad: Instituto de Educación, Instituto de Tecnología e Ingeniería, Instituto de Salud Comunitaria e Instituto de Biotecnología. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a distintos actores institucionales de la universidad, que involucraron la participación de docentes de los cuatro institutos, equipo de Dirección y Acompañamiento, directores de institutos, Directora de Gestión Académica, a la Secretaría Académica y al Secretario de Bienestar Estudiantil y Servicios a la Comunidad. Como parte de los resultados preliminares, podemos afirmar que en el marco del ASPO, las políticas institucionales de la UNAHUR tendieron a fortalecer el acompañamiento de los ingresantes, en vistas de favorecer sus trayectorias académicas. Entendemos que esto fue posible debido a que la universidad problematizó constantemente la educación desde un posicionamiento político y pedagógico y repensó la práctica institucional en pos de fortalecer la educación universitaria de la comunidad.
