This paper will explain the transformations focusing in two newspapers that were a landmark in Corrientes during the Peronist years: El Diario del Foro and El Liberal. In order to know the sources, the process of "peronization", of both newspapers during this period, it is sought to identify the actors involved, describe and characterize at a morphological level both in the newspapers and in the editorial lines.On the other hand, the study takes into account the particular historical context of Corrientes, as it is the only one in which the peronism must didn´t reach the power in February 1946's elections, it is also a province where conservative parties dominated the public affairs since the end of the 19th century. Entre 1946 y 1955, el peronismo se instauró en todo el país, atravesando y modificando las prácticas políticas y sociales en los más diversos ámbitos incluidos los de la prensa. En este trabajo se indagan esas transformaciones a partir del análisis comparado de dos periódicos referentes del peronismo provincial: El Diario del Foro y El Liberal. Describir y caracterizar las transformaciones en las prácticas periodísticas –en su forma y contenido- permitirá hallar pistas sobre el rol de la prensa en dicho momento histórico, su función catalizadora del debate político así como la difusión del modelo social del peronismo. Por otra parte, el estudio tiene en cuenta el contexto histórico particular de la provincia de Corrientes, la única en la que el peronismo no consiguió llegar al gobierno en las elecciones de febrero de 1946 y en la que los partidos conservadores provinciales habían sido los que dominaron sus asuntos públicos desde fines del siglo XIX.
