Considering the possible uses of this iconographic documents and seeking to exploit the heuristic potential of them, we question ourselves about the possibility of conceiving this visual testimonies as stories of vital experiencies on the part of inhabitants porteños in connection with the prevailing modernization context in the city of Buenos Aires in the middle of 1860s. |
