In this sense, we will analyze the reaction of the main authorities of Córdoba after the revolutionary outbreak of May, where there were opponents and adherents to the Junta de Buenos Aires, the participation in the Assembly of the Year XIII, the links with the artiguismo and the consequent declaration of the provincial independence, and finally the intervention in the Congress of Tucumán. For this we focus on the action of the local political elite that occupied the main place in the Cabildo, noting their positions, alignments and conflicts. El objetivo de esta ponencia es reconstruir el desarrollo del proceso político que tuvo lugar en Córdoba a lo largo del período 1810-1816, teniendo en cuenta los diferentes posicionamientos que se adoptaron en el espacio local en esa etapa convulsionada de ruptura con el orden colonial. En este sentido, nos ocuparemos de analizar la reacción de las principales autoridades cordobesas tras el estallido revolucionario de mayo, donde hubo opositores y adherentes a la Junta de Buenos Aires, la participación de Córdoba en la Asamblea del Año XIII, los vínculos con el artiguismo y la consecuente declaración de la independencia provincial, y finalmente la intervención en el Congreso de Tucumán. Para ello nos focalizaremos en la actuación de la elite política local, que ocupaba los principales puestos en el Cabildo, advirtiendo sus posturas, alineamientos y conflictos.
