| Sumario: | The documentary film "La fiesta de todos" by Sergio Renán has been catalogued by many analysts as a propaganda work in favor of the last dictatorship, based on the use made by the Military Junta of the conquest of the football World Cup cover up the illegal repression he was carrying out. However, rather than respond to a simple operation of distraction, the World Cup served the government of the Armed Forces to create a story based on the political and ideological principles that guided and justified their coup deed as the government established from this latest. The work of Renan does nothing more than give an audiovisual expression to this story that testifies to the new Argentina that the Armed Forces believed to be materialized during June 1978. |
